OG's Dota 2 team is competing at The International 2026 with a roster built entirely of Filipino players, sponsored by Melbet. The team reached Shanghai through the Southeast Asia regional qualifier, and the tournament itself runs August 13 to 23. As of August 14, OG sits at 0-3 in the group stage - one loss away from elimination.
From Europe to Southeast Asia
OG relocated its Dota 2 operation from Europe to Southeast Asia on November 8, 2025, unveiling its first all-Filipino roster: John Anthony "Natsumi-" Vargas, Erin Jasper "Yopaj" Ferrer, Nikko "Force" Bilocura at offlane, Timothy "TIMS" Randrup, and Rolen Andre Gabriel "Skem" Ong. Marc Polo Luis "Raven" Fausto later took over the offlane spot from Nikko, and that lineup - Natsumi-, Yopaj, Raven, TIMS and Skem - is the one that qualified for TI 2026. The move gave a European organization with two Aegis titles to its name a direct foothold in one of Dota 2's most passionate regions.
Qualifying wasn't a formality. OG went through the SEA regional bracket - a 2-0 win over Interactive Philippines, a 2-0 sweep of GLYPH, a 2-1 win over REKONIX in the upper bracket final - before closing it out 3-1 against Grind Back in the grand final, a series that included a game lasting nearly 70 minutes. Grind Back's roster, worth noting, includes Nikko "Force" Bilocura, the offlaner from OG's original Filipino lineup.
The Melbet Partnership
Melbet and OG announced their partnership on December 9, 2025, about a month after the Filipino roster itself was unveiled. The agreement covers branded content, live appearances and community activations, plus operational support spanning training, logistics and fan engagement - a broader arrangement than a simple sponsorship logo. Financial terms have not been disclosed by either party.

Where OG Stands Right Now
OG's first group stage series went to BoomBoys (BetBoom Team), one of the pre-tournament favorites, 0-2. The second went to Nigma Galaxy, also 0-2 - Natsumi's Gyrocopter attempted a Divine Rapier play that was lost almost immediately, and Nigma's Dazzle and Largo produced the healing and saves that let SumaiL's Shadow Fiend wipe four OG players in a single fight. The second game ended after Nigma isolated and killed OG's Rubick, setting up a triple kill for Lorenof's Lina. A third straight 0-2, this time against Team Resilience, put OG at 0-3.
At 0-3 in a 16-team Swiss group where the bottom three records are eliminated outright, OG has no margin left - their next match is against HULIGANI, also 0-3, and the loser goes home. That outcome isn't known yet as of this writing.
OG's History in Shanghai
OG is a two-time TI champion, winning in 2018 and 2019 as the first organization to take back-to-back titles - the second of those wins came in Shanghai, the same city hosting TI 2026. This is OG's first International appearance since 2022, arriving with a roster that shares nothing with those championship-era lineups except the organization's name.
